Students on the New England High School Summer Program put last night’s Euclid studying into practice at this morning’s classes. 

The first day of classes complete, students at the California High School Summer Program turned their attention to friendly competition between class sections.

At the New England High School Summer Program, Monday’s morning of math gave way to an afternoon of fun in sun.

Having come to know both campus and each other on Sunday, students were thrilled to begin getting to the know the College’s intellectual life on the first full day of the California High School Summer Program.

Today’s slender reading assignment covered Euclid’s definitions, postulates, and common notions, together no more than a few paragraphs. They seemed simple — almost too simple, some thought.

Having safely arrived on campus, attendees on the California High School Summer Program spent Sunday afternoon coming to know each other, the community, and the place they will call home for the next two weeks.

Although the weather held up for Saturday’s volleyball tournament and excursions, it did not, alas, for Sunday’s planned kayaking trip along the Connecticut River.
