The following alumni of Thomas Aquinas College would

Robert Orellana:
Santa Paula, California Robert R. Orellana graduated
from the College in 1982. He received his law degree from
the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1986. Robert,
with his wife Mary (a Class of 1981 Alumna), live with
their eight children in Santa Paula, just a few miles
from the College's campus. Robert is an Assistant County
Counsel for the County of Ventura and has spoken at the
College's Career Day on the availability of careers in
the legal profession after graduation from Thomas Aquinas

Richard Diamond:
Washington, D.C. Richard graduated from the College
in the class of 1992. He received his M.A. in politics from
University of Dallas, and is a Ph.D. candidate in politics
at University of Dallas.
Richard is Deputy Director of Media Relations at the
Federal Communications Commission. He served previously
as spokesman on technology and privacy issues for House
Majority Leader Dick Armey. He also served as Press Secretary
for the House Select Committee on Homeland Security.
Richard began his congressional career in Rep. Armey's
Texas office in 1994. He then moved to Washington in 1996
to become Press Secretary for Rep. Robert K. Dornan of
California and returned to Rep. Armey's office as Press
Secretary in 1997.
FCC Chairman Michael Powell said, "We are very pleased
that Richard has joined our office of Media Relations.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the agency
and we are fortunate to have him here."
