Hollywood actor, producer, and director David Henrie — best known for his portrayal of London Busbee in Little Boy — visited the campus of Thomas Aquinas College on Sunday, where he spoke about the TV/film industry, answered questions, and treated students to a preview of his upcoming short film, Catch. “I had a blast and was inspired by the beauty of the campus,” says Mr. Henrie. “It’s no wonder how one can contemplate such lofty subjects at Thomas Aquinas College, when all a student has to do is walk outside, look around, and let the awe of nature calm his/her mind.”

Mr. Henrie’s talk was part of an ongoing series, sponsored by the College’s Office of Career Advisement, in which professionals offer students advice about their industry. Previous events this semester include a discussion on law and a career strategies workshop focusing on business. “We are very grateful to David for giving us so much of his time, and to College Governor Mark Montgomery, who arranged the visit and brought David to campus,” said Mark Kretschmer, the College’s director of student services. “The event was highly attended, and our students seemed to greatly enjoy meeting David and getting an insight into the entertainment industry.”
