Farewell, St. Patrick Hall

Farewell, St. Patrick Hall

Early in the morning of May 23, 2013, a truck towed away the last modular building on the academic quadrangle of Thomas Aquinas College — St. Patrick Hall — thereby making room for the College’s new classroom building, St. Gladys Hall.

Although simple and, at times, unbearably hot, St. Patrick’s was beloved by students and alumni, who warmly remember countless conversations about the great books held within its aluminum walls. Construction on St. Gladys Hall will begin this summer.

“The education here is not a training for a specialized field, it is an education for the greatest, most glorious part of man — his faculty of reason.”
