Judge J. Leon Holmes: What It Means to be a Catholic Lawyer
On Saturday, January 28, 2012, the Hon. J. Leon Holmes delivered the keynote address at Thomas Aquinas College’s 40th Anniversary Celebration for Students and Faculty. A United States district judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Judge Holmes then presented a second talk the following Monday — this one directed toward students interested in pursuing a career in the legal profession.
The address, however, is not narrowly limited to the law. More broadly it pertains to the public and civic responsibilities of all faithful Catholics. Audio of the talk is available in both streaming and downloadable format below:
