On April 15, 2009, Thomas Aquinas College President Thomas E. Dillon died tragically in an automobile accident while traveling to Ireland to represent the College at an academic conference. This past Sunday — the third anniversary of his death — members of Dr. Dillon’s family and the greater College community met at his Santa Paula gravesite to pray for the repose of his soul. As it was also the Feast of Divine Mercy, those praying recited the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Dr. Thomas E. Dillon
It has been three years since Thomas Aquinas College lost its beloved president, and he is still greatly missed. With gratitude for the great good Dr. Dillon accomplished, the College continues the work of Catholic liberal education to which he devoted his life.

For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
