Alumni and their families from throughout the region converged on campus Saturday for the Annual Alumni Day. The event began with Mass in Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel, followed by lunch in St. Joseph Commons. Later that afternoon, the College hosted two seminars — one for adults, the other for children in grades 6-12 — both on the subject of Flannery O’Connor’s “Everything That Rises Must Converge.”

Families then headed down to one of the campus ponds for the 21st Annual Cardboard Yacht Race, in which participants must construct — then board — vessels constructed of only cardboard and duct tape. After all dried off, the recreation continued with basketball, volleyball, and soccer tournaments on the campus athletic fields. The event concluded that evening after the annual barbeque, with families leaving tired, but content, and already looking forward to next year’s reunion.
