This elegant prayer book includes devotions that have long been part of the College’s spiritual life, such as St. Thomas Aquinas’ prayers before and after Communion, the Prayer to the Holy Spirit said at the beginning of each class, a Prayer for Vocations that has helped draw so many alumni to the priesthood and religious life, and the prayers offered in the Chapel each day for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Alongside these and other devotions are beautiful photographs from the College — Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel, campus statuary, and scenes from the Mass and Adoration. Images of each of the Chapel’s 100-year-old, travertine Stations of the Cross accompany the devotional prayers of St. Alphonsus Liguori that the College prays together on the Fridays of Lent. Beside a Novena Prayer to St. Joseph for the well-being of the College there is an image of the statue that stands in his honor outside St. Joseph Commons.
