The California campus was the site of two funerals this past month, as friends and family gathered to bid farewell to two stalwarts of the TAC community: Marilyn McArthur and Larry Shields.

1. Sr. Mary Josefa (Kathleen ’07) Holcomb, O.S.B.

Sr. Mary Josefa (Kathleen ’07) Holcomb, O.S.B., is one of three TAC alumnae working to build “a spiritual oasis in the modern desert” at the Monastery of St. Joseph in Ava, Missouri.

Having earned two more degrees this spring, Dr. Cara Buskmiller (’11) now devotes her days to research and clinical practice, publishing both scientific papers and bioethical analyses.

Alumnus priest Rev. Matthew Maxwell, MC (’08), recently returned to the California campus to visit his alma mater, offer the Sacraments, and visit with the students of Thomas Aquinas College.
