Walk into St. Joseph Commons during lunch hour, and you are likely to see Daniel Selmeczy (’08), sitting amid a group of students, avidly conversing about their studies and their goals. A student was once overheard asking, “When does that guy ever stop working?”

On this All Souls’ Day, please pray for all of the College’s deceased alumni, chaplains, governors, faculty, and staff:
In addition to earning, once more, a coveted spot in the Top of 50 of U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of national liberal arts colleges, Thomas Aquinas College has also claimed a relatively new distinction: No. 8 in the United States for social mobility.
Thomas Aquinas College provides one of the best undergraduate educations in the country, according to The Princeton Review.
“We’ve used the Smile program for a year or two because it’s a convenient, if quite modest, addendum to our support for Thomas Aquinas College,” says John Dunlap, father of Dave (’03), Ben (’05), Nathan (’12), and Anna (O’Reilly ’12). Mr. Dunlap and his wife, Vicki, have been faithful benefactors of the College for more than 25 years. So, when the couple learned that they could augment their support every time they made a purchase from Amazon, they readily seized the opportunity.
To help ease the financial burden that the coronavirus and its attendant lockdowns have inflicted on students and their families, the Thomas Aquinas College Board of Governors has voted to freeze the cost of tuition and room & board for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Please pray for Dr. Henry J. Zeiter, who is on hospice care following a congestive heart failure. A longtime member of the Thomas Aquinas College Board of Governors, Dr. Zeiter is the father of Suzie (Andres ’87) and Camille (’91), as well as the grandfather of Joseph (’12) and Dominic Andres (’24) and Zach Zeiter (’21). Please pray for his recovery, for his comfort, and for the well-being of his family.
