RALLY FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

During Oral Arguments in Thomas Aquinas College’s Challenge of the HHS Mandate
U.S. Supreme Court Building
Washington, D.C.
March 23, 9:00 a.m.

On Wednesday, March 23, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Thomas Aquinas College’s lawsuit against the HHS Contraceptive Mandate. Many of the College’s co-plaintiffs, including the Little Sisters of the Poor and Priests for Life, are organizing a prayerful rally in front of the Supreme Court building during that time. Vice President Paul J. O’Reilly and members of the College’s Washington, D.C., Board of Regents plan to participate in the rally. (President Michael F. McLean hopes to be in the hearing room for the arguments; however, if he is unable to do so, he will participate in the rally as well.)

“We would love to have a massive show of support for Thomas Aquinas College and the cause of religious liberty,” says Dr. O’Reilly “We invite all of our friends in the area to join us — and to bring along their friends, too.”

The group will meet in front of the Supreme Court building from 9:00 a.m. until noon, carrying a black banner with the College crest. To receive location updates that morning, please send your mobile phone number to the College.

“We look forward to seeing many of our friends at the rally,” adds Dr. O’Reilly. “Yet even those who cannot make it can still join us spiritually in our Day of Prayer and Fasting in support of our attorneys and their efforts.”
