At one point this summer, Mirjana Coccia (’14) of Randolph, N.J., feared that she would not be able to return to Thomas Aquinas College for her junior year. Having hit upon hard times, her family could not pay for the upcoming semester’s tuition. Fortunately she was able to qualify for a new financial aid package and, thanks to the generosity of the College’s benefactors, she is now back on campus, delighting in the blessings of a Catholic liberal education. On behalf of the nearly 80 percent of Thomas Aquinas College students who receive financial aid, Mirjana expresses her gratitude.
