Why did Christ work miracles? To testify to His divinity? Perhaps, but then why did He say, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of Jonah” (Matt 16:4)? In keeping with the Legatus Summit’s theme of “Signs and Wonders,” Thomas Aquinas College invites you to explore the miracles in the Gospel of St. John, as contemplated by the Church’s Universal Doctor, St. Thomas Aquinas. Dr. Paul O’Reilly, a 34-year veteran of the teaching faculty and TAC’s president, will lead a breakout session, “Aquinas on Miracles,” where attendees will analyze a short, highly accessible reading, in a seminar modeled after the College’s classroom conversations. (Register for the seminar to receive the text beforehand.)
