This past Sunday, Thomas Aquinas College, California, held its semi-annual Schubertiade, an informal concert nodding to composer Franz Schubert’s living-room gatherings, which showcased his and friends’ latest works.
During their mid-semester Don Rags break, students at Thomas Aquinas College, California, gathered one night last week to showcase their talents at the Spring Open-Mic Night.
With the arrival of Don Rags came the semi-annual blood drive last Tuesday on Thomas Aquinas College’s California campus. Vitalant, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing blood to those in need, serviced students at a temporary clinic in St. Augustine Hall. Donors gave throughout the morning and early afternoon, some walking in, others scheduled.

Thomas Aquinas College offers a unique program of studies to its students — and last weekend, it offered a glimpse of that program to over 70 prospective students during the Admissions Office’s annual California Open House.
On March 3, the students and faculty of Thomas Aquinas College, California, discussed faith and reason at this semester’s All-College Seminar, a favorite campus event.

Last weekend, St. Patrick’s Coffee Shop in St. Cecilia Hall was transformed into a jazz “bar” for the annual Cecilian Corner speed-dating event. Activities director Anna Van Wijk (’24) and veteran coffee shop employee Baylor Gee (’24) spearheaded the transformation, decorating tables with candles and tasteful sprigs of lavender, while Mr. Gee planned an elaborate menu of mocktails for the occasion.
