St. Genesius Players Host Broadway Open Mic Night

 

Few things capture hearts and minds like Broadway musicals. Soaring melodies, gripping stories, and exciting choreography have enthralled audiences for generations. And so, recognizing how little time is left in the first semester, the St. Genesius Players of the California Campus hosted a Broadway Open-Mic Night this past Saturday.

Construction continues apace on the Pope St. John Paul II Athletic Center on the California campus of Thomas Aquinas College. Workers have dug the pool, and the clock has been installed on the tower that will house the center’s climbing walls. See the video and photos below for more details:

This past Sunday in St. Cecilia Hall, the students of Thomas Aquinas College, California, came together for a celebration of classical music at the semi-annual “Schubertiade.” They performed harmonious operatic excerpts, haunting poems set to melody, rousing violin and piano pieces, as well as flute and vocal solos.
