On the eve of New England Commencement 2023, Thomas Aquinas College President Paul J. O’Reilly hosted a late-afternoon reception for members of the Senior Class and their parents in the Bl. Frassati Student Center.

Since an Easter-morning fire damaged Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel last month, the community of Thomas Aquinas College, New England, has attended Mass in an interim chapel in Olivia Music Hall.

Continuing a longstanding Thomas Aquinas College tradition, members of the New England Class of 2023 congregated in Gould Commons at lunchtime Thursday for the Senior Boast. Led by Sara Langseth (’23), they vociferously and boisterously declared their achievements over the last four years, while also letting the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors know exactly how much work the younger classes still have to do. With a thunderous reception, the room erupted into an encore of applause in gratitude and congratulations for the soon-to-be graduates.

Last year Luke Cecchi (’24) discovered the National Club Basketball Association (NCBBA), an organization dedicated to helping collegiate club teams compete with other schools in their region without sacrificing their studies for athletics.

After the last classes of the academic year on Friday afternoon, students at Thomas Aquinas College, New England, gathered on the lawn outside Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel to celebrate! Prefects filled cups of lemonade and provided giant bowls of popcorn as fellow students trickled out of St. Gianna Molla Hall, section by section. The lawn soon filled with students chatting with their friends, dancing, and playing football, soccer, and frisbee.
