The Aquinas Review

Founded in 1994, The Aquinas Review is a semi-annual publication of Thomas Aquinas College. Its aim is to provide a forum for a deeper consideration of those matters that constitute the College’s curriculum and are central to genuine Catholic liberal education. Consistent with the nature of the College, The Aquinas Review is marked by fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and a respect for the great tradition of liberal learning, which is our common heritage.

Honorees

The Medallion

The Saint Thomas Aquinas Medallion, an award established by the Board of Governors of Thomas Aquinas College in 1975, is a means of specially recognizing those Catholics who have demonstrated by their lives and work an extraordinary dedication to God and His Holy Catholic Church. Each recipient has exhibited unusual devotion to God and His Church by unfailing adherence to the Magisterium and by influential leadership in advancing the teachings of the Church.

Seminal Documents

In the founding document of Thomas Aquinas College, A Proposal for the Fulfillment of Catholic Liberal Education, the College’s founders and original tutors articulated the principles that would undergird the College’s formation and establishment. They further refined this vision through various lectures and articles, links to which are provided below. These documents are considered “seminal” for their vital role in seeding the College’s future success by explicating its purposes, its curriculum, and its pedagogy.
