Mother Mary Assumpta Long, O.P., has accepted President Michael F. McLean’s invitation to serve as Thomas Aquinas College’s 2012 Commencement Speaker. The prioress general of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, in Ann Arbor, Mich., will travel to campus this spring to participate in the College’s May 12 graduation exercises.

On a recent afternoon during the last days of classes before final examinations, 27 Thomas Aquinas College juniors gathered in the rotunda of the faculty and administration building to sing four classical hymns. The brief performance marked the latest chapter in a young but increasingly anticipated campus tradition.

On Sunday, November 20, the upperclassmen squared off against the underclassmen in Thomas Aquinas College’s annual Turkey Bowl flag-football game. It was a hard-fought battle, but ultimately the upperclassmen emerged triumphant.
