Current Students
On Monday members of the Thomas Aquinas College community celebrated the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas with a fitting combination of prayer, scholarship, and fun.
After the close of classes on Friday, some 230 Thomas Aquinas College students met up behind St. Joseph Commons to begin their pilgrimage to San Francisco and the Walk for Life West Coast. They heard some encouraging words from Dean John J. Goyette, then received a blessing from chaplains Rev. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J., and Rev. Paul Raftery, O.P., before boarding four buses and numerous cars for the voyage north.
Their seven-hour, 350-mile journey is now under way. Please pray for their safe travels and their witness!

Dozens of Thomas Aquinas College students traveled to Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday for OneLife LA — the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ annual event to promote the beauty and dignity of all human life. Pictures from the event are available in the slideshow below:
Each year, when seniors read Russian novels as part of the seminar curriculum, Thomas Aquinas College’s librarian hosts a soirée, like those portrayed in Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace. The centerpiece for these gatherings, which take place in St. Bernardine of Siena Library, is an elegant vessel: a century-old Russian samovar.
On Tuesday, members of the Marian Sisters of Santa Rosa visited Thomas Aquinas College to meet with students who may be discerning vocations to the religious life. The community, founded by the Most Rev. Robert F. Vasa, Bishop of Santa Rosa (California), is dedicated to “communicating the beauty, goodness, and truth of the Catholic Faith in a spirit of joyful evangelization while living the fullness of the Church’s liturgical life.”
