Each fall the sophomores, juniors, and seniors take turns hosting welcome events for the new Freshman Class. This past weekend, it was the seniors’ turn. The day began with a joint trip to the beach:

Then, that evening, the seniors held a welcome dance, complete with student-produced skits, in St. Gladys Plaza:

On Wednesday evening, Thomas Aquinas College President Michael F. McLean and Dean John J. Goyette hosted members of the Senior Class at a start-of-the-year barbeque.

On Saturday members of the College community gathered on the athletic fields for the annual All-College Picnic. The afternoon began with an inter-class tug-of-war, followed by a refreshing dive on a make-shift slip-n-slide. Finally was the picnic itself — a chance for upperclassmen to reconnect after the summer and to get to know members of the Freshman Class:

Capodanno — a forthcoming EWTN docudrama that features several Thomas Aquinas College students and recent graduates. The story discusses how the idea came about to re-create, for the camera, the battle scenes in which Fr.

Welcome to our incoming freshmen and to all of our returning students. We greet you all as friends and companions in the lifelong effort to acquire moral and intellectual virtue and to strengthen and nurture the theological virtues — the God-given gifts of faith, hope, and charity.
