This past Saturday, local members of the Thomas Aquinas College President’s Council came to campus to learn from Landscape Supervisor Dave Gaston about how he — with the help of his team of student workers — keeps the grounds so beautiful.

Over the course of the last academic year, a group of enterprising Thomas Aquinas College students worked to establish an on-campus organization that will benefit others like them for years to come — the TAC Business Club.

This past Saturday members of the Ventura Chapter of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders (CALL) came to campus for the group’s seventh annual Thomas Aquinas College seminar. A national organization dedicated to the growth and spiritual formation of the country’s Latino leaders, CALL has deep connections in Southern California and with the College. The Most Rev. José H.

Over the weekend, Thomas Aquinas College hosted a retreat for the deacons who serve the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Santa Barbara pastoral region. “Bishop Barron has a particular desire that the deacons in his region have an annual retreat that will really deepen their spiritual lives,” says Deacon Chris Sandner, regional assistant to the Most Rev. Robert Barron. “The campus at Thomas Aquinas College was the perfect place to do just that. We were all very grateful to be here.”
