Friends from all points along the Eastern seaboard — from Quebec to Florida — gathered last Saturday on Thomas Aquinas College’s newly acquired property in Northfield, Massachusetts, for a chance to learn about the College’s unique program of Catholic liberal education and to meet members of the faculty.

“One of the things that distinguishes our academic program from many of the other orthodox Catholic colleges is that every student here studies math and natural science, for all four years, in great detail,” says Dr. John J. Goyette, a tutor and Thomas Aquinas College’s next dean.

Friends of Thomas Aquinas College from throughout the Midwest gathered earlier this month for an afternoon reception hosted by the College’s newly formed Chicago Board of Regents.

“This was our inaugural event and it was a great success,” says Peter Colarelli (’92), chairman of the Chicago Board of Regents. “We were able to reconnect with some familiar faces and establish new relationships with those in the community who are friends of authentic, Christ-centered liberal arts education.”

This past Saturday members of the Ventura Chapter of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders (CALL) came to campus for the group’s fifth annual Thomas Aquinas College seminar. A national organization dedicated to the growth and spiritual formation of the country’s Latino leaders, CALL has deep connections in Southern California and with the College. The Most Rev. José H.
