Franz Wall and his parents
Franz Wall (’16) with his parents, Walter (’91) and Christy (Tittmann ’89)

“After 7 months of laying alone in a hospital bed. After 12 surgeries and 12 progressively difficult recoveries. After countless lonely hours separated from so many friends and family.

“After all this … I am coming home. Coming home to a new room, a new life and new ambitions.”

So writes Franz Wall (’16), who was paralyzed in a skiing accident in November. On Thursday Mr. Wall returned to his hometown of Mariposa, California, where he was greeted with a hero’s welcome.

Thank you to all who have kept him and the Wall family in your prayers. Please continue to pray as he adjusts to his new life and, carried by God’s grace, pursues his new ambitions.
