All College
Beneath a warm sun and cool breeze, St. Sebastian School in Santa Paula, California, is brimming with life. Teachers and staff buzz with excitement. They crowd near a small stage, which sports a ceremonial ribbon. Nearby, parents chuckle with each other as they arrive on the campus. Children sprint in games of tag and make full use of the playground. The day’s planned event promises not only to celebrate hard work and achievement, but opportunity and the vibrant community of St. Sebastian’s as well.

Last Friday evening, groups of about 18 Thomas Aquinas College students from all classes — seniors and freshmen, sophomores and juniors — gathered in classrooms on both coasts for the All-College Seminar.
In these semi-annual discussions, led by one or two tutors each, students consider great works from beyond the College’s classical curriculum. The gatherings also allow students to learn from peers outside their respective class.
Throughout October, as the leaves turned from green to myriad warm shades, students across Thomas Aquinas College’s two campuses excitedly looked forward to Halloween. And in keeping with TAC custom, on Saturday the Sophomore Class hosted dances — both in California and New England — to mark the occasion.
