Students at Thomas Aquinas College, California, learned about the pros and cons of a legal career last Saturday from Robert Miller, a friend of the College with years of professional and academic experience in the legal field. 

In a convivial spirit, the men of St. Katharine Hall invited the women of St. Bernard Hall to the lobby of St. Cecilia Hall for a joint trivia night last Saturday. Men and women from both residence halls formed teams to answer questions selected by Dillon Tuliau (’24) and Dominique Beccar Varela (’24) — the “tyrants,” or senior leaders, of each residence hall.

How can graduates of Thomas Aquinas College, California, become doers as well as thinkers? That was a question three visiting professionals pondered with students at Wednesday’s Career Panel, organized by the College’s Career Center and hosted by Peter LaFave (’13), a strategic sourcing director at Elevance Health, and vice president of the Alumni Association Advisory Council.

The students and faculty of Thomas Aquinas College, California, gathered in classrooms across the campus last Friday night for this semester’s All-College Seminar, where they discussed St. Thomas Aquinas’s teaching on divine mercy.

The juniors of Thomas Aquinas College, California, fêted their fellow students with one-last pre-Lenten dance on Saturday night — in connubial style. Inspired by Ash Wednesday’s falling on Valentine’s Day this year, the Class of 2025 decided to host a wedding. 

Thomas Aquinas College’s beloved Rev. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J., has been moved to the infirmary at the Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos, California. He is currently in isolation while doctors rule out Covid, and he is scheduled to undergo an MRI later this week.
