With great joy, Thomas Aquinas College, California, began its 52nd academic year on Monday — first, in prayer, at the Convocation Mass of the Holy Spirit, and then by welcoming new faculty and students at the ensuing matriculation ceremony.

In the final days of the spring semester, the Thomas Aquinas College California Choir and Orchestra performed Gilbert and Sullivan’s 1879 comedic opera, The Pirates of Penzance, before a full house in St. Cecilia Hall. Under the direction of Dan Grimm (’76), the production was part of the 2021-22 St. Vincent de Paul Lecture and Concert Series, endowed by Barbara and Paul Henkels.
