On Thursday evening workers installed the crowning jewel of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel at Thomas Aquinas College, New England.

“At TAC you get to teach within the context of this wonderful curriculum,” marvels James Berquist (’08), the newest tutor at Thomas Aquinas College. “You have people being given the tools to read and to seek out the truth with real guidance. There’s really nothing like it.” 

Back in March, just before COVID-19 forced students home early for the year, Thomas Aquinas College, California, hosted an informal concert, or “Schubertiade,” in St. Cecilia Hall. Photos from the concert never made their way to the website, as more pressing events took precedent, but we offer them now as a reminder of what campus life was before and how, God willing, it will be again soon:

The Most Rev. Robert E. Barron, Auxiliary Bishop of Los Angeles, will join the community of Thomas Aquinas College as its members pray the Holy Rosary for the sanctification of priests on Friday, June 19, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

“I have not only been taught, but also have grown to truly know over time to recognize God’s actions in the world and in those around me,” says Evelyn Murray, a new graduate of Notre Dame Academy High School in Los Angeles who was recently profiled by Angelus News.

Yesterday, Thomas Aquinas College, California, was forced to say goodbye to a beloved campus landmark — the stately oak tree that once stood in the center of the academic quadrangle, just before Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel.
