A loyal and longtime friend of Thomas Aquinas College, Frances Scheller Morehart passed away on November 13, just one week short of her 94th birthday.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Raffaella Stroik, daughter of Duncan, the design architect of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel. Miss Stroik, a 23-year-old dancer with the St. Louis Ballet Company, was discovered missing Monday, and authorities found her body this morning. Please pray for her eternal rest and for the consolation of the Stroik family as well as her many friends.

At their annual retreat this past weekend, members of the Thomas Aquinas College Board of Governors took time to honor the Board’s longest-serving member, Peter L. DeLuca.

By God’s grace, the College will open the doors to its New England branch campus next spring. The former campus of a century-old boarding school, the beautiful, 100-acre property sits in the historic Connecticut River Valley. To experience the charm for yourself, see the above video.

Today marks the 93rd birthday of Thomas Aquinas College’s beloved Jesuit chaplain, Rev. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J. To celebrate the occasion, the community surprised Fr. Buckley at lunchtime with a spiritual bouquet, several gifts, and a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” and “For He's a Jolly Good Fellow.” See video, below:
