College Consensus, a new online aggregator of college-review guides, has ranked Thomas Aquinas No. 10 on its list of the Best Catholic Colleges of 2018, or “the Catholic schools in America recognized as the best across the board.” The College is the only one of the now-numerous new Catholic colleges founded since its own establishment in 1971 to be included on the list.

“The launch of a student-led business club at Thomas Aquinas College has already begun to pay off,” writes Megan Mineiro of the Pacific Coast Business Times, “with two members recently landing summer internships with the health insurance provider Anthem.”

Dear faculty, staff, students, family, and friends: It is an honor to be here with you today. And to you, my dear graduates, congratulations! What a beautiful occasion this is. And what a beautiful setting in which we find ourselves.

On May 12, Thomas Aquinas College celebrated its 44th Commencement Exercises, honoring the 90 members of the Class of 2018. The day began with the Baccalaureate Mass of the Holy Spirit in Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel. The Most. Rev. Robert C. Morlino, Bishop of Madison, Wisconsin, served as the principal celebrant and homilist:

After much reminiscing and toasting at the end of Wednesday night’s President’s Dinner, members of the Class of 2018 weren’t ready to retire just yet. So, in keeping with a longstanding College custom, they made their way to Ventura’s Buena Lanes — joined by several members of the faculty and Head Chaplain Rev. Paul Raftery, O.P. — for some late night bowling. Photos are available in the slideshow below:
