Alumna Mom Completes Master’s Degree in Theology

Catherine (Connelly ’11) O’BrienCatherine (Connelly ’11) O’Brien has successfully defended her thesis on marriage and the family, thereby completing her master’s degree in theology at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC. Making Mrs. O’Brien’s accomplishments all the more impressive is that she earned her degree while raising two young daughters — including during a seven-month period when her husband, Joseph (’11), was deployed overseas as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
