In a recent installment of its LA Catholics video series, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles profiles TAC alumna Michele (Grimm ’81) Loughman — mother of 10, cancer survivor, and executive director of the Life Centers of Ventura County.

Established in 1972 as a counseling center for expecting mothers, Life Centers was licensed as a medical clinic in 2015 and now offers free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, peer counseling, education, and material support to women in need. “You can’t help but love these women. That’s just all there is to it, and we do,” says Mrs. Loughman in the video. “And they need our help. So, if we don’t do it, who does?”
