Prospective students will soon be able to experience the intellectual, spiritual, and community life of Thomas Aquinas College, New England, at its Fall Open House.

“We are looking forward to welcoming high school juniors and seniors to Northfield on November 2-5,” says Associate Director of Admissions John Jost. “These extended visits give prospective students a chance to experience our celebrated curriculum for themselves — to see how the College pursues truth in the company of friends and under the light of the Catholic faith.”

At the heart of the College’s Open Houses are class visits, where attendees will witness the Discussion Method in action. “Visiting and seeing students discuss the works that have shaped our world is a great introduction to the College’s academic program,” says Mr. Jost. “But even better, our Open House weekend will include a seminar just for prospective students, so they can experience the power, wonder, and strength of the program for themselves.”

Since the Discussion Method depends entirely on student participation, quality discussions rely on the mutual friendship of the student body. Attendees will experience how campus life strengthens that friendship through camaraderie on the athletic field and at meals, as well as at Mass and in the residence halls. Attendees can also look forward to fun afternoons exploring New England forests, game nights, bonfires, and other activities.

On the last day of the Open House, families are welcome to join attendees for one of the morning Masses in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel and brunch in Gould Commons. “Parents and siblings can come in for Sunday Mass, then stick around for brunch and see the campus,” says Mr. Jost.

“We hope our guests will leave having experienced at least a sliver of what Thomas Aquinas College has to offer its students,” Mr. Jost adds. “Enjoy the program! Don’t leave without having asked what questions you have about the education — or life afterward!”

Space is limited, so to attend the Open House, please reserve your spot now!
