The graduating Class of 2025 celebrated the culmination of four years of friendship, learning, and formation at Thomas Aquinas College, California, this Wednesday at the President’s Dinner, hosted in their honor by College President Dr. Paul J. O’Reilly.

Both the seniors and members of the College’s faculty and staff attended the formal dinner, held in St. Joseph Commons. Students and tutors shared tables, filling the Commons with the sound of laughter and conversation as they enjoyed their meal together.

When the last plates were cleared away, Dr. O’Reilly addressed the Class of 2025, exhorting its members, as they go into the world at large, to accept the mission to which Christ has called them. “As you prepare to leave Thomas Aquinas College,” he said, “you stand at a threshold, not unlike the disciples who were sent out by Christ into the world.”

After the president’s words, members of the Senior Class and faculty took turns offering toasts, raising their glasses to beloved friends, students, and teachers, and thanking each other for the last four years. At the close of the dinner, formal solemnity gave way to casual celebration as students and faculty left campus for the bowling lanes, where they spent the rest of the evening competing in high spirits!
