Junior-Senior Dinner

On Saturday night, the juniors at Thomas Aquinas College, New England, hosted a Baroque-themed dinner in Bl. Frassati Student Center, followed by a dance, for the soon-to-graduate Class of 2025.

The event kicked off with an afternoon cocktail hour on the Dolben Library quadrangle. The juniors, seniors, and faculty filled the sun-filled quad, conversing in their finest attire. At the end of the hour, the master of ceremonies — Alexie Forrester (’26) — joined by two other juniors dressed in full Baroque regalia, ceremoniously announced dinner service. The guests were treated to a three-course meal featuring honey thyme pork, potatoes, and wild carrots. Students and faculty enjoyed the dinner, set to soothing live classical music in the background provided by freshman cellist Donovan Carlson (’28).

During dessert, the toasting began. Seniors took the stage to compliment the juniors for the fantastic dinner, noting that the Class of 2026 had consistently put on some of the best events on campus, glad to see that campus life next year would be in safe hands. The juniors shared stories, thanking the Senior Class for being good friends and great role models during the time they shared, and wished good luck to the Class of 2025 in its future endeavors. “It was great to hear some of the stories in the toasts,” recalled Thomas Langley (’26). “Some of them were really funny!”

After much laughter and some tears, the students finished the night with dancing.  “I think the dinner was fabulous,” said senior Christopher Wolfenden (‘25). “The juniors really put on a show for us.”
