Following on last week’s Senior-Freshman dance, the juniors of Thomas Aquinas College, New England, took their turn welcoming the Class of 2025 on Saturday with a kayaking trip on the Connecticut River. “By hosting the River Day, the we had a chance to connect with the new class,” said Paul Dinan (’23).

As the sun began its descent, students returned to shore, and then to campus, for a dinner of pizza on the Tracy Student Center Lawn, complete with songs around the bonfire. Afterward, the group headed inside to dance the night away. “I’m glad the Junior Class hosted River Day,” said freshman Franz Forrester. “Now I feel a lot closer to them.”
