With Christmas break on the horizon, the men’s and women’s residence halls at Thomas Aquinas College, New England, prepared for the season last weekend by hosting decorating parties.

The men of St. Augustine Hall tackled the challenge of putting lights up outside, finding creative solutions to decorate the building with Christmas cheer. Inside, some chatted over hot cocoa, while others dug through boxes of ornaments to decorate a thematic tree.

Over in Gould Hall, the ladies broke out the Christmas cards and fairy lights, decorating their common room with pine garlands and fun ornaments. They danced to their favorite Christmas songs and crafted festive bows to garnish the tree and fireplace.

“I love all the lights!” exclaimed Rebecca Conrad (‘27). “The common room feels so much cozier now!”
