On the evening of Saturday, February 16, 2013, the St. Genesius Players of Thomas Aquinas College presented a production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in St. Joseph Commons, directed by seniors Molly McAlister and Megan McGuire.

The students of Thomas Aquinas College celebrated Mardi Gras a few days early this year with a Saturday-night dance in St. Joseph Commons. The event included student-produced entertainment, costumes, feasting, and plenty of swing dancing:

Thomas Aquinas College has long held His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in great esteem, dating back to his time as the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. In 2008 Pope Benedict personally blessed the cornerstone of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel and, in gratitude, his coat of arms is inlaid in the marble of the Chapel’s central aisle.

Among the cardinals being discussed as “papabili,” or possible successors to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, are six friends of Thomas Aquinas College. All six served as Commencement Speakers, and all have received the College’s highest honor, the Saint Thomas Aquinas Medallion.

More than 200 students from Thomas Aquinas College plan to join a Walk for Life on Saturday in San Francisco.

The two-mile walk, starting at the city's Civic Center Plaza, will protest abortion and celebrate life, said Sarah Dufresne, 20, a junior at the Catholic private college in Santa Paula.

On January 28, 2013, members of the Thomas Aquinas College community celebrated the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas with a fitting combination of prayer, scholarship, and fun.

The day began with Mass in Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel. Chaplain Rev. Hildebrand Garceau, O.Praem., served as the principal celebrant. Concelebrating was the day’s visiting lecturer, Rev. Michael Sherwin, O.P., the chair of fundamental moral theology at the University of Fribourg.
