In honor of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on Sunday, Thomas Aquinas College, New England, held a High Mass at noon, followed by a procession across campus with a relic of the True Cross.

This feast holds great significance for the New England campus, as the College is blessed to possess a relic of the True Cross in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel. Head Chaplain Rev. Greg Markey carried the relic beneath a canopy at the head of the procession, followed by an entourage of student acolytes and the College choir, who led the rest of the congregation in singing Crucem Sanctam Subiit. The procession wound its way in a loop around the campus, then made its way back to the Chapel for the Mass’s conclusion and veneration of the relic.
