To commemorate Pope Leo XIV’s request that Catholics pray the Rosary for peace in October, Thomas Aquinas College, New England, hosted a Marian Holy Hour Sunday evening.

Students, faculty, and their families gathered in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel, Rosary beads in hand. The altar was illuminated by candlelight, drawing all attention to Christ’s presence. To begin the Holy Hour, altar servers processed in, followed by Head Chaplain Rev. Greg Markey, as the choir sang Marian hymns. Attendees prayed the Rosary before the exposed Eucharist, asking Our Lady’s intercession for global peace. There was silent time for prayer and Adoration before the hour concluded with Benediction.

The group then made the rainy walk to St. Frassati Student Center, where hot apple cider and cheery company awaited.
