Last Friday evening, in honor of the anniversary of the final apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, chaplains Rev. Greg Markey and Rev. Carlos Viego led the students of Thomas Aquinas College, New England, on a Rosary procession around campus.

Beginning on the steps of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Chapel, students and faculty followed a statue of Our Lady of Fatima, carried by a band of altar servers, into the evening darkness, surrounding it with the gentle light of candles and the low hum of prayer. Between decades of the Rosary, the group sang verses of “Immaculate Mary” and finished with the Litany of Loreto. The procession concluded in the Chapel, with servers reposing the statue of Our Lady of Fatima beside the icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Afterward, the congregation decamped to Bl. Frassati Student Center for a celebratory potluck and an evening of camaraderie under the Blessed Mother’s maternal gaze.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
