Peter L. DeLuca

September 29, 2025

Mr. DeLuca has received a definitive diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, with no apparent metastases. The tumor appears to be operable. He will see an oncologist in the coming weeks to develop a plan of treatment, which will likely involve a few months of chemotherapy followed by surgery to remove the malignancy. He very much appreciates everyone’s prayers and asks that you continue them for him, his doctors, and his family.

Good news! Doctors have concluded that the mass on Mr. DeLuca’s pancreas has not metastasized to the liver, but he must undergo further testing to determine a diagnosis and treatment plan. Please continue to keep him, Mrs. DeLuca, and their family in your prayers.

Kay DeLuca asks for prayers for her husband, beloved TAC co-founder and former president Peter L. DeLuca. “Peter has not been feeling well, and X-rays show that he has a mass on his pancreas,” reports Director of Financial Aid Greg Becher (’80). “The doctors are planning to do further testing to see if it is cancer. Mrs. DeLuca is asking for prayers that, when they test again, there’s nothing wrong — that what they thought they saw was just a shadow. We are asking for a miracle.”
