Prefects welcome arrivals

The California One Week High School Summer Program is under way, as students arrived in beautiful Santa Paula on Sunday, some coming by car, others via plane from Los Angeles International Airport.

The prefects were up bright and early to welcome all the new faces who have come from far and wide to get a taste of Thomas Aquinas College. From the surrounding forest-green hills to the glorious Chapel which stands tall as the heart of the campus, every bit of it is starting to leave an imprint on the new arrivals.

Students arrive

Finding and settling into their residence halls, the programmers are unpacking and getting to know their roommates and friends. At all corners, there is a tangible feeling of eagerness and excitement. With orientation and various introductions still to be made, the upcoming evening is sure to be memorable and joyous.

We will have a full recap tomorrow morning here on the Summer Program Blog, as well as twice-daily updates throughout the week. So check back often!
