This past weekend some 25 Thomas Aquinas College students and tutors enjoyed an educational tour of one of Southern California’s finest art museums, thanks to the generosity of College Governor Maria O. Grant.

Note: On December 14, 2014, Msgr. Sal Pilato, superintendent of high schools for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, delivered the following eulogy at the Rosary for Sir Daniel Donohue. A dear friend of the College who was one of its earliest and most generous benefactors, Sir Daniel died on December 3. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

After the close of classes on Friday, January 23, more than 200 Thomas Aquinas College students departed for San Francisco and the 11th annual Walk for Life West Coast. They arrived late in the night at Saints Peter and Paul Church in San Francisco’s Little Italy, where the Salesian fathers graciously offered them a place to sleep in the parish’s two gymnasia. The next morning, they attended Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral with the Most Rev. Salvatore J.

When Thomas Aquinas College President Michael F. McLean agreed to lead a seminar for the Orange Coast chapter of Legatus, he had no idea what he was getting into. “It turned out to be the largest discussion I’ve ever led,” he said. “At the College, our classes never exceed 20 students, but that night, there were nearly 70 people in attendance. Thankfully, I had asked our vice president for development, Dr. Paul O’Reilly, to co-lead our discussion.”

On December 5 the Thomas Aquinas College Choir performed a complete, unabridged production of Handel’s Messiah at its annual Advent Concert in St. Joseph Commons. The video below features the choir’s performance of “For unto us a Child is Born.”
